Meet ‘Dancer’ the Dolphin.
Found in tropical and temperate oceans around the world, these aquatic mammals are thought to be one of the most intelligent animals on Earth. This piece was inspired by Caitlin’s experience swimming with Dolphins. Lots of subtle colour tones have been used to bring the Dolphin to life as the water reflects many colours off its pearly skin.
The original piece was drawn in oil pastels and Faber Castell Polychromos with Brusho inks in the background.
This is a Giclee open print, produced using high quality fade-free pigment inks onto Permajet Museum Heritage 310gsm acid free heavyweight archival paper, meaning they have a life expectancy in excess of 75 years.
